Microsoft entered this week with force. It is only Wednesday and it has officially confirmed the acquisition of Bethesda, that more games will arrive on Xbox Game Pass and also yesterday that in March we will have a new update with many improvements for Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and the app from Xbox to mobile, which will finally include tracking of our valuable accomplishments. But they still needed to improve the way they display supported languages in the Store.
Something that we can already say is accomplished, since they have just announced since Xbox Wire that eventually the Microsoft Store on Xbox and the Xbox Game Pass app will show all supported languages at a glance.
Supported languages, the eternal nightmare of Spanish
It’s certainly an issue we’ve been hanging around on since games of such importance as Quantum Break came without dubbing in Spanish, but it looks like the trend is changing and even DLCs like Gears 5 Hivebusters have great dubbing. Well from now on both the dubbing and whether it is subtitled in Spanish or any other language of our choice will be perfectly reflected, to the point that the language in which we have our console will show it to us directly at the top of the list
Ideas that come true, but above all a community that asks and Xbox engineers who give us all they can. From things as important as backward compatibility or the upcoming FPS Boost, to simpler updates, the work is commendable and Microsoft’s consoles offer a refined ecosystem that just keeps getting better.
