Hello Xbox Insiders! Today we released a new Xbox update preview for Alpha Ring.
It is important to note that some updates made in these preview versions of the operating system include background improvements that ensure a high quality and stable build for Xbox consoles. We will continue to publish these release notes, even if the noticeable UI changes are minimal or hidden, so that you are aware when updates are available for your device.

Corrections included
Thanks to all the great feedback from Xbox Insiders and the hard work of Xbox engineers, we’re excited to announce that the following fixes have been implemented with this build:
Accessibility
- Fixed an issue where the voice and keyboard indicators in Party Chat were not displaying as expected when using speech-to-text.
Controllers
- Fixed an unexpected error indicating that there was a problem updating your controller, even if the update was successful.
guide
- Fixes to address some areas of the guide that appear larger than expected.
system
- Various updates to correctly reflect local languages across the console.

Although known issues may have been listed in previous Xbox Insider release notes, they will not be ignored! However, Xbox engineers may need more time to find a solution. If you experience any of these issues, we encourage you to follow the instructions provided and submit feedback to us To report a problem.
Audio
- We’ve received reports from users experiencing intermittent audio playback issues in the dashboard, games, and apps. If you’re having problems, make sure you have the latest firmware updates for your TV and other devices. If you are unsure, you may need to contact the manufacturer for help.
- note: If you continue to experience issues after applying the latest firmware updates, please immediately submit feedback using Report a Problem using the Reproduce with Advanced Diagnostics option, then select the Console Experience category and Console Audio Issues “. Make sure you include as much information as possible:
- When did the problem start?
- Did you lose audio only in the game/app or also in the system audio?
- Will changing the audio format solve the problem? If so, what format did you have before and after?
- Will restarting solve the problem?
- What does your setup include? Equipment, layout, etc.
- And any additional information you can provide to reproduce the issue.

- Some users report an unexpected black screen when opening the game map or selecting “View in Microsoft Store” after opening. We are investigating this.

- We are investigating user reports of unexpected display or graphics issues with some titles.
Networking
- We are investigating reports of an issue where the console may not connect to the network as expected when booting. If you experience this, be sure to report the issue using Report a Problem as soon as you are able.
