Hello Xbox Insiders! We have a new Xbox update preview for Delta Ring. It is important to note that some updates made in these preview versions of the operating system include background improvements that ensure a high quality and stable build for Xbox consoles.
We continue to publish these release notes, even though the noticeable UI changes are minimal, so you know when updates are available for your device. Details can be found below!
System update details:

Fixes implemented
Thanks to the hard work of Xbox engineers, we are pleased to announce that the following fixes have been implemented for this build:
Capture and share
- Fixed an issue where capturing screenshots or gameplay clips immediately after launching a title could result in subsequent captures not completing as expected until the console was restarted.
games
- Additional fixes to address unexpected loss of saved game progress in various titles.
system
- Various stability and performance fixes.

We understand that some issues were highlighted in previous Xbox Insider release notes. These points will not be ignored, but Xbox engineers will need more time to find a solution.
Audio
- We’ve received reports from users experiencing intermittent audio playback issues in the dashboard, games, and apps. If you’re having problems, make sure you have the latest firmware updates for your TV and other devices. If you are unsure, you may need to contact the manufacturer for help.
- note: If you continue to experience issues after applying the latest firmware updates, please immediately submit feedback using Report a Problem using the Reproduce with Advanced Diagnostics option, then select the Console Experience category and Console Audio Issues “. Make sure you include as much information as possible:
- When did the problem start?
- Did you lose audio only in the game/app or also in the system audio?
- Will changing the audio format solve the problem? If so, what format did you have before and after?
- Will restarting solve the problem?
- What does your setup include? Equipment, layout, etc.
- And any additional information you can provide to reproduce the issue.

Networking
- We are investigating reports of an issue where the console may not connect to the network as expected when booting. If you experience this, be sure to report the issue using Report a Problem as soon as you are able.
Definitely use it To report a problem to keep us updated about your issue. We may not be able to answer all questions, but the data we collect is critical to finding solutions.
