Hello Xbox Insiders! Today we released a new Xbox update preview for the Omega Ring.

It is important to note that some updates made in these preview versions of the operating system include background improvements that ensure a high quality and stable build for Xbox consoles. We will continue to publish these release notes, even if the noticeable UI changes are minimal or hidden, so that you are informed when updates are available for your device.

Xbox Insider Release Notes

System update details:

  • OS version: XB_FLT_2311ZN\25398.2923.240110-1710
  • Available: 5:00 PM PT – January 11, 2024
  • Mandatory: 5:00 PM PT – January 12, 2024

note: This update may not happen automatically until it is already mandatory. You can always find the latest update as soon as it is available by opening the guide > Profile & System > Settings > system > Update.

Remember: Newly registered users in this ring are not guaranteed to receive all early updates, but they will receive the update before the GA release. Additionally, once registered, a small subset of users may remain on their current GA build until the next system update becomes mandatory for the public. Corrections included

Thanks to all the great feedback from Xbox Insiders and the hard work of Xbox engineers, we’re excited to announce that the following fixes have been implemented with this build:

games

  • Fixed an issue where save syncing could not complete.

system

  • Various stability and performance fixes.

Although known issues may have been listed in previous Xbox Insider release notes, they will not be ignored! However, Xbox engineers may need more time to find a solution. If you experience any of these issues, we encourage you to follow the instructions provided and submit feedback to us To report a problem.

Audio

  • We’ve received reports from users experiencing intermittent audio playback issues in the dashboard, games, and apps. If you’re having problems, make sure you have the latest firmware updates for your TV and other devices. If you are unsure, you may need to contact the manufacturer for help.
    • note: If you continue to experience issues after applying the latest firmware updates, please immediately submit feedback using Report a Problem using the Reproduce with Advanced Diagnostics option, then select the Console Experience category and Console Audio Issues “. Make sure you include as much information as possible:
      • When did the problem start?
      • Did you lose audio only in the game/app or also in the system audio?
      • Will changing the audio format solve the problem? If so, what format did you have before and after?
      • Will restarting solve the problem?
      • What does your setup include? Equipment, layout, etc.
      • And any additional information you can provide to reproduce the issue.

Networking

  • We are investigating reports of an issue where the console may not connect to the network as expected when booting. If you experience this, be sure to report the issue using Report a Problem as soon as you are able.

As always, be sure to use it To report a problem to keep us updated on any issues you encounter. We may not be able to answer all questions, but the data we collect is critical to finding solutions.
