Get ready to build your own mech fleet, team up with friends and compete against the Wild Ten in this online mech shooter. If you’re new to the War Robots universe, let’s brush up on your knowledge before you jump into the cockpit.
Battles rage on new worlds
Human progress is making this pioneering War Robots game fly across the stars. The new setting, “Wild Ten,” is a collective of planets over which Dominions – megacorporations from Earth – vie for control using mercenary pilots and their mechanical war robots as enforcers.
From your base of operations on Tortuga, you can accept contracts from Dominions and then go out and fight in these new worlds. Storm the fiery refineries of Catalyst, plunge into the vast industry of Fissure, and traverse the city-spanning spectrum in six-on-six online battles. You’ll be hit by both dynamic weather and enemy teams, so make sure to keep the metal in good condition.
Battles can be fought in three modes. Capture points for your team in Warp Rush, go for destruction in Team Deathmatch, and make quick work of the opposing team in Last Robot Standing.
You are the pilot and the engineer
Build a combat-ready war robot equipped with a huge selection of pilots, weapons, parts and abilities. There are several ways to find new unlockable items that will help you stay up to date with new strategies and counters. With different war robots and combinations, you can experiment with different combat roles and play to the strengths of your personal play style.
When you find yourself in the middle of battle, you have to manage the war robots at your disposal. These mechs aren’t cheap, so respawns are limited. Optimize your fleet and coordinate with friends to give yourself a fighting chance, adapting to the task at hand and the state of affairs.
Titanic Power
The pilots of the Wild Ten have made a new discovery: the Titan, a massive power-up build with the goal of dealing maximum damage. These robots are much larger and more impressive than their standard counterparts. They are powerful, but also a big target. If you can build up enough power to unleash it, you could turn the tide of battle…or go down in flames. It’s definitely worth a try!
Titans have their own quirks and abilities, but can only be used to a limited extent per battle. Proceed carefully, and if you see the enemy team summoning their own Titan, take them out extreme Prejudice.
Are you ready to build your first mech? War Robots: Limits is now available for Xbox Insiders to play on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. The full game is scheduled to be released in 2025.
