Cyberpunk 2077: CDPR has updates on the game’s release and its future
After receiving criticism from players, some media outlets and even the Polish government for several weeks, the studio took the floor on video to apologize and share its vision for the future. They recognize the errors known at the start and undertake to fix them as healthily as possible for the teams. Another point emerges behind the beautiful speeches. In fact, such a speech was heard a few months before the game was released and, as we know today, it was not respected. Why should it be any different now? Only time can tell.

A new color for the Xbox Series controller
After Microsoft caused a stir with its Shock Blue controller, Microsoft has put the cover back in a new color. Available from February 9th, the queen of ergonomics is wearing a beautiful red dress for the occasion. The Press Networkit is said to be available for $ 59.99. The trilogy is thus complete and the most patriotic may see it as a sign!
HyperX introduces new controller charger
The device manufacturer’s ChargePlay Duo will also be updated in a new version. Presented at CES 2021, it is adapted to the new Xbox series controllers. However, it will only be available on US soil for the time being. Hopefully it won’t be long before we arrive!
Xbox Series S: Future-proof performance for the creator of Super Meat Boy
Since its announcement, the S-Series has often been viewed as less powerful compared to the previous generation. A wrong saying based on an overly simplistic comparison of teraflops. The developers are less clear-cut, and some even go so far as to applaud the machine. Such is the case of the co-creator of Super meat boy, Tommy Refenes, who explains that the experience of 60 FPS at 1080p, even 1440p, remains an excellent proposition with even a few concessions made on image quality.
Finally, the languages will be displayed in the Microsoft Store!
Good news for all xenoglossophobes – fear of foreign languages, please – at Microsoft. The store now shows the supported languages for every aspect of a game. For some titles it is currently only possible to filter titles according to this criterion. Anyway, we hope it will be released for more games soon.
The DICE developer teases unannounced Xbox exclusives
With the multiple postponements of titles to 2020, the release schedule has seen many upheavals. Because of this, some players are wondering what games would have been announced for this year if it hadn’t been for the postponements mentioned. A developer at DICE responded to one of these players, implying that several announcements have not yet been made. The strong partnership between EA and Xbox is one of the possible avenues, but it could also spawn titles from Xbox Game Studios.
Ubisoft and LucasFilm Games are collaborating on the new Star Wars game
Another big news this week with an unprecedented partnership between Ubisoft Massive and Lucasfilm Games. The brand new studio that brings all Star Wars games together works with the developers of Department 2. This collaboration marks a turning point for the license war of stars after eight long years the monopoly of the electronic arts. A Disney opening therefore has more projects with new studios.
Bethesda on the new Indiana Jones game
At Lucasfilm Games, it was Bethesda that caused the surprise this week with the return of a license that has been forgotten for several years. Indeed, the famous archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones returns in a brand new game. Directed by Todd Howard, the short trailer offers few additional details. However, it will be necessary to be patient: no release date has been announced.
Game postponements: the first victims of 2021
At the beginning of the year, the first victims of the many shifts in the calendar can already be seen. Indeed, with a completely messed up schedule, the ambitious titles are being postponed even further. So these are these Riders Republic, Ubisoft’s extreme sports title, and the much anticipated Hogwarts Legacy who pays the price. The first is postponed to an unknown date. As for the second, it looks to be until 2022. Unfortunately, the list is likely to get longer.
The medium: the live-action trailer for freezing your blood
Two weeks before its publication, The medium is spoken of again through a terrible trailer. This time goodbye CGIs and hello real actors! Always expected for January 28th, it is the great exclusivity of the beginning of the year.
