Master Chief isn’t the only one wearing an epic helmet. In celebration of the iconic helmet and the introduction of Halo infinite, Riddell and Xbox have teamed up to create a limited edition Master Chief-inspired memorial helmet to celebrate the game’s recent release. Produced by Riddell Sports, the leading manufacturer of football headgear, the Master Chief-inspired helmet design with Riddell’s SpeedFlex model was designed in the Master Chief’s signature green Mjolnir armor color with accents of gray metal and rubberized Techsuit colors. Each helmet was weathered by hand using a custom multi-stage painting technique specially developed for this collaboration, which makes each helmet unique.
The memorial helmet also features Master Chief’s iconic Spartan number “117” decals on the sides of the helmet, as well as a special edition Halo “20th Anniversary” decal on the back. Other upgrades include a special SpeedFlex SF-2EG-TX face mask, a black convertible kit that includes black parts, face mask clips, front and rear bumpers, custom-painted strap eyelets and valve caps, and a black hard-shell strap. The look is rounded off with a Oakley Pro Shield in Prizm 24k Iridium, which comes very close to the visor of the Master Chiefs helmet. (The Master Chief inspired helmet is for display use only and is not intended for actual gaming or actual use).
A select set of these commemorative SpeedFlex helmets are available available at www.riddell.com as part of the limited production celebrations.
