The recent launch of the game Deathloop is well known, it is on everyone’s lips and the community at large and has been given a second chance to be known and played by more people thanks to its foray into the Xbox and its coming to Xbox Game Pass.
Now, what’s interesting is that despite being on Playstation 5 and now Xbox Series, it’s Microsoft’s small but mighty current-gen machine that’s getting a good impression from the media.
The little white beast: the Xbox Series S is getting muscle with Deathloop
One of the most recent videos came to us thanks to IGN, and there we enjoy a comparison between the current generation systems. It is more than obvious that the Playstation 5 and the Xbox Series X are on equal footing, except for some small advantages of the latter over the former.
However, the little white beast shows us that it has potential and that it is not far behind other consoles when it comes to showing what it is capable of.
In summary:
- On Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X, the visual settings are identical, with the former being slightly less sharp in rt mode.
- The Xbox Series X has a 5-6fps advantage in quality mode and a sharp 10-12fps advantage in 120Hz mode.
- Xbox Series S does not have rt mode, it only has quality and performance mode, both run in dynamic 1080p at 60 fps.
- There is a very slight 1 fps drop in quality mode on the Xbox Series S.
If you are one of the lucky ones to own an Xbox Series S or its big sister, don’t forget that Deathloop is available on the service of Xbox Game Pass, since September 20th. If you have an active subscription, now is a good time to try out this great game. Have fun.
