At Xbox, we always listen to our fans. While we develop the new Xbox mobile app On iOS and Android, we’ve received your feedback that you want to bring achievements back to the Xbox app. Last month we started rolling out and testing performance experiences in the Xbox app. Starting today, select players can check monthly leaderboards to see how you hold up against your friends. We’re also adding the ability to view achievements on game detail pages to track your progress. Everyone will see these updates on the app by the end of the month and we will continue to refine the experience over time. Look forward to more updates to the Xbox Mobile app in the near future.
Play Xbox Game Pass games with your friends
Playing with your friends just got easier Xbox Game Pass on your console. Play with Friends now shows when friends are playing an Xbox Game Pass game. You can either jump straight into a connectable multiplayer session or start installing the games your friends are playing.
New game recommendations and collections for Xbox Game Pass
Discover new game recommendations and collections in Game Pass on your console. Explore another gem based on your gameplay with “Because You Played” or find a game to play with friends in “Multiplayer”. And that’s not all – we’re adding more collections like first person shooter, sci-fi, horror, sandbox, mystery, anime, fantasy, cute, and more. With all of these collections landing in the Game Pass hub on your console, you’re sure to find something that suits your mood.
Pause the game and speed up your downloads
Download your games ASAP with the new game pause feature in My Games and Apps. Today the queue will warn you if your active game is slowing down the download speed. Now is the time to suspend your active game to free up bandwidth and get the most efficient download speeds. Then, with Quick Resume, you can always come back to your game if you want to start playing again.
