For the 15th anniversary of the Yakuza series, there will be a live stream with announcements.
The first Yakuza game was released for the PlayStation 2 on December 8, 2005. A glance at the calendar reveals that the series is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.
The developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is taking this as an opportunity to host a live stream on December 8, 2020 to celebrate the birthday.
Guests like Takaya Kuroda (voice of Kazuma Kiryu) and Kazuhiro Nakaya (voice of Akira Nishikiyama) are welcomed in the live stream, as the developer revealed.
Not only do they celebrate the past 15 years, they also want to provide information about “future developments”. Whether that means developing a new game remains to be seen.
With Yakuza: Like a Dragon – Xboxdynasty a new part was released just a few days ago. It remains questionable whether a new game will be announced in the live stream.
