This first weekend, there are six multiplayer maps for you to play: Derelict, SCUD, Skyline, Rewind, Pit, and Gala. These different maps will take you to places like an abandoned desert outpost, a shopping mall, an underground mining tunnel, and even a fundraiser. You can also try out different game modes, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Order, and Face Off.
Personally, I’m most excited to try out Kill Order, the newest game mode being introduced in Call of Duty multiplayer. Here, you’ll need to eliminate the opponent’s High Value Target (HVT) while keeping your HVT alive (taking it out can earn your team bonus points). It sounds like a great mix of chaos and teamwork, and I can’t wait to try it out for myself.
During the first weekend of the Closed Beta, you can reach player level 20. As you progress along this path, you can unlock additional loadout gear, create custom loadouts, and earn in-game rewards by completing tasks in the Beta and BlackOps 6 at launch. You will also have the opportunity to play as a number of operators during the multiplayer beta, including Adler, Park, Brutus and Klaus, who are only available in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Vault Edition. Plus, you can boast about the Mastercraft weapon collection, only available in the Vault Edition.
