Rumors indicate that Apple is preparing a new iPad Pro with a large screen, something that fits very well with this new interface of iPadOS 16 to organize applications in the form of windows. And looking at the current iPad lineup, we can assume we’d be talking about the flagship model with those 14-inches…but that might not be the case.
Looking for the same changes as in the iPhone 14?
Ross Young was the source who claimed that this upcoming 14-inch iPad would not have Promotionwhich allows for variable screen refresh rates of up to 120Hz. Its current 11-inch and 12.9-inch siblings have featured it for two generations.
So that would make this iPad not as professional as we hoped. Perhaps he is aimed at the general public, only selling his large size as an advantage and not his power. Moreover, the screen that would take nor would it be a mini-LED: Young thinks he’ll stick with an LCD screen like the 11-inch iPad.
It’s a rare move, but Ross Young’s record gives us pause. He also thinks we’ll see this iPad in early 2023, so we’ll see it after a supposed fall launch of the new M2-chip iPad Pro line. Perhaps, in the same way that we will have a non-Pro Max iPhone 14, there will also be a iPad without Pro Max?
