The revenue campaign for the year 2022 will last from April 11 to June 30, 2023, and during this time you will have to present your declaration. What you can do at this point is by looking at your tax data and grants that you may have access to.
All of this is available from the Tax Agency app, and we’ll show you how you can access each of its sections.
Check your tax data
As soon as you enter the 2022 income section, it will ask you to confirm the cadastral data of your tax address, and until you have done so, you will not be able to access the procedures or consult the tax data. If you do not have the information to hand, you can search using the cadastral search engine.
- Download the AEAT app from Google Play.
Once this is done, you will access a section where, when available, you can start the process of submitting your tax return, but until then you will only be able to consult your tax information.
First of all, you will have a section to consult identification data such as your name and your identity document or your tax address data.
If you detect that this data is not correct or that it does not represent your current reality, it is better to hurry to modify it before the end of the deadline for filing the declaration.
In the Work income and economic activities section, you will have access to data on your activity during the 2022 financial year,
In both, you will see information regarding the total amount you entered for work income as well as the identity of the payer(s) you had.
If you were self-employed throughout 2022, you can also access a section that presents census data of your economic activity during that year.
You must take into account that the data that the tax authority shows you may not correspond to your actual data because it only reflects what the public body has received from other entities such as your payers or yourself.
However, when submitting the income statement, you must attach all requested information, whether or not it appears in this section.
