1. Share map directions from your Mac to your iPhone
If you often use the Apple Map app on your Mac to plan your trip, you should know that you can send and share your addresses with your iPhone when you're ready to start the trip. Of course, you'll need to sign in to iCloud using your Apple ID on both devices.
To do so, you must open the Apple Maps app on your Mac and press Addresses. Click on the square sharing button with the arrow in the input toolbar and select the device you want to share with your addresses. You will receive a notification on your iPhone, click on it and you will have all your addresses from your Mac to your iPhone.
2. Use 3D mode on Apple Maps
If you use Apple Maps, the app displays your city's online imagery in two features. But you have the opportunity to change this to 3D mode. There are many ways to use all three of these, but the fastest keep two fingers pressed on the screen and slide up.
This applies to navigation view and satellite view. In this 3D mode you can see the entire panorama of buildings by zooming and rotating the view by holding the finger pressed on the screen while sliding the other finger.
3. Use Flyover mode
When you browse specific cities on Apple Maps, the app offers the option to enter Flyover mode. This feature gives you the ability to fly over the city and approach buildings. It can be a very useful task to judge the distance between different points or find alternatives. However, Apple has not implemented this functionality in all cities. Here is a list of other cities that allow you to enter Flyover mode.
To see different areas of the city, you can move your phone up, down or sidewalk. You can rotate the view by keeping your finger pressed on the screen and rotating the other finger for circular motions. Your city may no longer be compatible with Flyover, if so, you should know that Apple is slowly introducing new cities.

To clear your history, scroll down eventually and select the "Clear History" option.
