Application failures are often the order of the day, and usually the users themselves expose the problem. That hasn’t changed with a bug in the applicati on of Swedish bank Klarna Blank
Reports of the Klarna Blank bug began this week when several users protested on social media about the insecure error that gave them access to other users’ stored information. The app has since suspended access to it, sharing the message “out of service for maintenance”, although it continues to offer the service on the website.

“This is why we are saddened and frustrated to inform you of a self-inflicted incident, which for 31 minutes affected up to 0.1%, or approximately 90,000, of our users. The bug led to exposing random user data to the wrong user when accessing our user interfaces. “
