WhatsApp Desktop lets you pause and resume your voice recordings
As you can see in the image shared by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp for desktop integrates a new pause button that allows you to pause the voice memo. With this you can listen to the voice note before sending it, you can delete the voice memo or resume recording
The new pause button replaced the old stop button, which would mean that the user would have to listen to the entire voice recording from the beginning.
In October 2021, WhatsApp for iOS enabled the same ability to suspend voice memos after recording them in beta. However, the Meta-owned messaging service has yet to introduce the feature in the WhatsApp beta for Android phones.
In recent weeks, WhatsApp has also dropped other clues about upcoming updates of all kinds, as an official support tool via an in-app chat, a pack of 7 exclusive animated emojis and the long-awaited reactions to WhatsApp messages, with which Telegram got ahead last December.
