iCloud is one of the most important platforms for Apple whose relevance has been steadily increasing for the past few years. Many of the most important services are integrated into the Big Apple cloud, and users often depend on the information stored and synced there. To access the iCloud data and toolset, Apple has a special website that has been redesigned and is only in the beta portal.
New tiles as widgets for the new iCloud Beta design
iCloud services can be accessed through the devices themselves from iOS and iPadOS settings. They are also accessible via the online website, the functionalities of which have been limited in time. The iCloud.com site allows the user to access email, shared or synchronized images, the entire Apple office suite and other services directly from the web.
However, the design of this portal was updated many years ago with the arrival of iOS 7 and iOS 8 and since then few new features have arrived. This is why Apple has designed a new portal closer to the current interfaces of iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura which is available in beta format. All users can access through the beta.icloud.com link and log in with iCloud credentials.

The most important thing about this new design is the tile format. This new type of interface allows you to display a large amount of information at a glance. For example, accessing latest documents from Files, latest uploaded images from Photos, etc. We can add new information tiles at the top right by clicking on the ‘+’ icon.
To access the rest of the information, in the same toolbar we can click on the six-square icon to access the rest of the services available in our account, including iCloud+ services if we have an active subscription.
Finally, Apple has redesigned the data recovery system, as well as the information of our subscriptions within the service. This information is at the bottom of the screen. If you want to try out this new design which should be officially released in the coming months, just head over to beta.icloud.com and give it a try.
