Android Auto and its new app
Weather and speed cameras is the new application that is on the way for Android Auto. It will be the first full weather app with real-time radar support.
In other words, as is the case with the applications that we have on our phones, this application called Weather & Radar will illustrate through this map the changes that are occurring at all times in order to visualize them in the best way.
At the moment, via 9to5Google, the application has its limits and only displays radar readings in real time of the area in which you are. This means that while you are driving the car, the map will be updated.
Another of its important points is that it offers different layers for the different maps it has, although at the moment it does not offer weather forecasts. Weather & Radar will show heavy rain areas based on color tone, so it will be very easy to tell them apart to take one route or ano ther.
This is the app
It has the particularity of applying a zoom to the area in which we are driving in order to enter into the details and better visualize the region. Of course, being able to use an application of this type is best understood from the drive our vehicle on the road, even though he still doesn’t have a weather forecast, which is one of his weaknesses.
Anyway, while waiting for the “Coolwalk” redesign, we are facing an application that will be added to the complete Android Auto experience in order to better enjoy the road with all the information available at your fingertips. Of course, at the moment we do not know the date of its deployment, so we will be attentive.
