Google has decided to change the direction of its artificial intelligence services, also giving it a name change, from Bard to Gemini, already present in Europe, although, at the moment, unofficially. Despite this, it’s no secret that Google is going to bet heavily on this technology.
Good proof of this is the increasing integration of this AI in its own applications, which has already been seen in Gmail, Google Docs or Google Sheets, and everything indicates that we will soon see it on more of the brand’s platforms. The last two to join this trend are Keep and Messages.
These are the company’s notes and messaging apps, and both receive news related to GeminiYes, in its beta version. In both cases they are linked to writing, since it is one of the great capacities of this artificial intelligence.
Gemini is coming to Messages and Keep
The American company is making many changes to some of its platforms, aiming to make them smarter thanks to Gemini. In Keep, the brand’s notes application, a function has been launched which appears as a drop-down icon and is called “Help me create a note”.
This keeps its promises, since thanks to generative AI, you can be asked to help write a list of things to take on a trip, monthly purchases or supplies needed before a trip.
Gemini approaches Messages in a different way, since the way to access the chatbot will be through a conversation with it. Here you will be asked to edit a post you wrote. until you create an image
In both cases, these are first approaches that are only available in English, and we will have to wait to see them in Spanish. Logically, it is strictly not recommended to include confidential information in the text box shared with the AI, as it can be viewed by humans.
