Samsung launched its artificial intelligence feature platform, Galaxy AI, with the Galaxy S24 family of mobile phones. These AI features are reaching more and more phones, including the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, and many of their foldables. However, Samsung’s AI will not be limited to smartphones and tablets.
Samsung recently integrated some Galaxy AI features into its headphones, and now it’s the turn of the company’s smartwatches. THE The Galaxy Watch will also receive artificial intelligence functions for better monitoring of user health.
Better workout routines, better sleep tracking and more: AI comes to One UI 6 Watch
Galaxy AI on Samsung phones includes features like real-time call translation, web browser enhancements, and Circle to search, among others. In the case of headphones, Samsung has integrated AI translation functions to facilitate their use with a mobile phone. For example, when conversing with someone who speaks another language, the user listens to the translation with headphoneswhile the other person listens to what we say in their language through the mobile speakers.
For Galaxy Watch smartwatches, Samsung will add new features and improvements dedicated to health. For example, thanks to artificial intelligence, users will be able to create much more personalized exercise programsbased on intelligent measurements of the physical capacity of each user, as the company explains in a press release.
The new operating system for Samsung smartwatches will also work more advanced sleep tracking
Additionally, Galaxy Watches with One UI 6 will also display a new “power score,” which Samsung says includes the combination of a series of personal health measures, including sleep quality and hours, physical activity of the day and heart rate variability, among others. Based on this score, the watch will be able to offer wellness advice based on the user’s goals.
The new news of artificial intelligence will arrive with A UI 6 watch to all compatible Samsung smartwatches. It is estimated that all of the company’s Wear OS-based watches will receive this update, namely: Galaxy Watch 6, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 4.
Samsung is expected to release the first beta of One UI Watch 6which will give us a first look at the AI health features and other new features that will be included in the next major system update for Samsung smartwatches.
