Normally, a single access to an application on the home screen is enough. We also don’t want to fill it with weather apps, for example, but there’s more than one situation where it’s possible that we want to have different instances or access app for easier access.
An app here, an app there
The main reason Apple lets you do this and what makes it useful is the focus modes. Concentration modes allow you to set which home screen pages we want to see
So what if the same app should be present on the home screen when we have W ork Mode and Free Time Mode? This is what allows us have multiple instances of an app on different pages
Well, given the reasons, let’s see how to get this curious effect. The steps to follow are:
- We enter the application library on our iPhone or iPad. Remember that we can access it from the far right of the home screen, after the last page of applications or in the Dock icon on the iPad.
- We continue to press the application that we want to add until the application library disappears.
- We place the application on the page of the home screen that interests us.
This process we can repeat it as many times as necessary to place different accesses of the same application in different places on our home screen. We can add them to folders or even to the Dock or the folders that we place there.
By the way, if we are having trouble finding the app we need to add to the app library we can use the search engine. If we do, we continue to press the result that interests us to be able to add it easily. Nothing more, when we need multiple accesses to an application that we use regularly, we just have to drag it from the library, it’s as simple as that.
