Apple is already touting one of the new features of iOS 18.2 in a new video
Apple has released iOS 18.2 for iPhone, one of the best updates in recent times. We have many new features, particularly related to Apple Intelligence, which we have been able to test thoroughly. And it seems that Apple wants everyone to know about them, since it launched a video to promote Genmoji.
Even though Apple Intelligence launched with iOS 18.1, the truth is that the vast majority of features arrived with iOS 18.2. Among them we have many of Apple Intelligence's imaging-related featureslike Genmoji. Although Apple has acknowledged that there are still Apple Intelligence features that are not available in iOS 18.2. We should see them in a future iOS 18 update, although I have a feeling Apple Intelligence will continue to get better in the years to come with each new update.
What are Genmoji like?
Apple Intelligence has several functions to generate images based on provided text or another image. We have Image Playground to directly create images, Image Wand to transform sketches into much more realistic images, and Genmoji, which are a clear application generative images to everyday life. We can describe anything we want and Apple Intelligence will create a special emoji with an aesthetic that is difficult to differentiate from a real emoji.
This may be one of the best features of Apple Intelligence, at least one of the most used by userssince the created emojis are sent as emojis between Apple devices. Additionally, you can use and create these custom emojis in any messaging app, such as WhatsApp.
Genmoji lets you create custom emojis from descriptions and is a lot of fun to use. This isn't limited to iMessage; You can also send these emojis from WhatsApp as stickers. [5/10] pic.twitter.com/Ck99Mcg388

Las the possibilities are virtually endlesssince you can create completely new emojis or customize some of the existing ones. And they are completely unique. By simply describing them in one sentence, Apple Intelligence will offer you several versions of this emoji.
Create a new Genmoji right on your keyboard to match any conversation. Provide a description to preview it and adjust it until it's perfect. You can even choose someone from your Photos library and create a Genmoji that resembles that person.
At the moment, all of these Apple Intelligence features are only available in beta on all iPhone 16, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad mini (A17 Pro) and iPad and Mac models with an M1 chip or later version, with Siri and device language are set to English in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom or the United States.
Apple also confirmed that Apple Intelligence will be available in more additional languages in April, although more languages and platforms will be added throughout the year. Supported languages in 2025 include Chinese, English (India, Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish and Vietnamese.
