Oppo will be another Chinese brand that very soon, on December 14, will present its bets for 2023, and it has already advanced some of them, including new types of devices.
It will be the Oppo folding
One of these devices was already known, the new foldable Oppo. But we’re not talking about the successor to the Oppo Find N; Although we will also be waiting for it, it will be an evolution of the device that we have already been able to test this year.
Where Oppo can really surprise is in the new Oppo Find N2 Flip, its first foldable clamshell (despite what the “2” in the name indicates). The first official images have already been published, and they confirm one of the main rumors of this device: a giant external screen.
The secondary screen of the Oppo Find N2 Flip
In the same way as Samsung with the Galaxy Z Flip, Oppo realized that the big problem with this format is that you have to open it to do anything; It’s not like the Oppo Find N which has two screens, an internal flip-up and a conventional external one.
Therefore, Oppo’s idea is to put a “mini mobile” outside the Find N2 Flip, which will allow us to access the main features of the device without having to open it. In addition, the screen will allow us to directly see information such as time, charge or notifications.
Oppo’s new health wearable
Another interesting device that could change Oppo’s future has yet to be named. It bills itself as Oppo’s “first health product concept”, which tells us it’s much more than just a smartwatch.
The preview image does not tell us much, except that it may be some kind of smartwatch dedicated mainly to health; so we’d expect plenty of built-in sensors and advanced features to put it on par with Fitbit or the Apple Watch, for example.
