After the Christmas holidays, it seems that Apple is back to work and without further ado released several updates. On the one hand iOS 15.2.1 to fix bugs, and also the second beta of iOS 15.3, as well as the corresponding betas for the rest of the devices.

Bugs fixed on iOS 15.2.1

Apple released iOS 15.2.1 and iPadOS 15.2.1 with bug fixes for CarPlay and iMessage. But also fixed a major HomeKit-related bug that could cause your device to stop working multiple times. It was a somewhat wacky HomeKit bug, but it could cause your device to It will fail if you change the name of any of your devices to one longer than 500,000 characters.

As for CarPlay, a bug has been fixed that prevented third-party apps from responding to our control. And in iMessage, it is fixed that some photos sent via a link to iCloud will not be uploaded to Apple’s messaging service.

iOS 15.3, watchOS 8.4 and tvOS 15.3 Beta 2

The second beta version of the next updates we will receive on our devices is now available for developers after the macOS Monterey beta was released yesterday. At the moment this update does not show any major news, something quite strange for a single decimal update. The update to iOS 15.2 brought many new features, but this 15.3 does not reveal any relevant changes. No clues were found in the code of the new releases to guess future developments that Apple wants to keep hidden for now.

These updates come with the equivalent versions for Apple Watch and for Apple TV. As with the version for iPhone and iPad, we found no relevant news in any of them. They can now be downloaded, if you have a developer account, via OTA from your own device as long as it is connected to WiFi and has sufficient battery power.
