The Apple universe has had a very quiet two months since the start of the new year (we missed our forecast for January and February). There hasn’t been any release for fans of the iPad, AirPods, or any other product since December.
But now that the weather is starting to improve, the prospects for a big launch also appear to be improving. Apple likes to host an event in the spring, and this year it’s particularly intriguing.
Everything indicates that this month of March will be busy. Apple will likely host a virtual press event and there are plenty of products they could advertise. In this article, we’re going to go over the new products that could arrive in March 2021.
AirPods

iPad
We have already mentioned a spring event, and it is believed that this event will mainly focus on the iPad. This already happened years ago with the Spring 2018 event, the main theme of which was the role of the Tablet in education.
Currently, there are four models of iPad. It’s virtually impossible for us to have a new iPad Air, as it was recently updated, back in October. However, the other three models could be renewed.
Most likely is the arrival of a new iPad Pro, reputed leaker Jon Prosser has predicted will arrive in March. Hopefully the Pro will get a mini LED display, 5G support on the mobile data model, a new design, and of course a new processor.
It’s also highly likely that a new iPad mini will arrive in March, especially since it hasn’t been updated since spring 2019 and has been a popular model in the past. Its screen could go from 7.9 “to 8.4” if Apple reduced its bezels.
Finally, we have the standard iPad, now known as the 10.2-inch iPad. It could change. Some experts suggest that Apple would consider donating the body of the discontinued iPad Air 3, which would result in the 2021 iPad having a 10.5-inch display.
AirTags
Apple’s object tracker, which would directly compete with Tile, has been on the table for a long time, and speculation has indeed reached unsuspected limits by the end of 2020. But Apple continues to keep us waiting.
As far as we know, the AirTag is a small disc or sticker that you can attach to your wallet, like a keychain or other important items, and then track its location using the Find app. me on your iPhone.

Apple tv
It has been fairly quiet recently in the Apple TV department, but its update is still eagerly awaited by many. It’s been three years since Apple updated its digital receiver.
This is particularly curious considering the fact that the company is very focused on audiovisual entertainment. Indeed, in March 2019 (or November 2019 outside the United States), the company launched Apple TV +, its service on diffusion by subscription.
There were plenty of rumors suggesting that Apple would finally update the device in 2020, but it doesn’t. What we’re sure of is that we’ll have a new Apple TV with the A12X chip sooner or later, and March could be the perfect month.
Mac
We believe that the next update to the Mac lineup will be postponed until the summer, although there is still the possibility that Apple will decide to announce a new iMac a little earlier, more precisely, this same month. Of March.
It surely depends on whether or not the new model will have new processors. If Apple chooses to reuse M1 chips from late-2020 models, a new iMac could arrive in March. Although we believe the company will want to wait for the M1X chip.
Spring event
We have already talked about products, but now we are going to talk about dates. When will all these products arrive? When will the next Apple event take place?
Several sources had indicated that March 16 was the most likely date, but recent forecasts are rarely reliable. This date was set by Jon Prosser in October and, a little more recently, two little-known Twitter accounts.
However, Mark Gurman, an analyst at Bloomberg surely with more credibility than the previous three combined, he has now assured that there will be no Apple event on March 16, although he made it clear that he does not rule out an event in March.
In the event that we created Gurman and not Prosser, the event could take place any day of the week (we exclude weekends, Monday and Friday) in March or April. We think Tuesday March 9 or 23 is a likely option.
