The event Performance Overview that Apple organized at the beginning of March was rich in novelties. They introduced the Studio Mac, Studio Display, third-generation iPhone SE, and green iPhone 13, and there was the release of iOS 15.4 and macOS 12.3.
April is going to be much calmer. We don’t expect any new products to be announced until at least WWDC in June, and there are no new iOS or macOS betas available (not even for developers), so there shouldn’t be. neither have future releases. Software remarkable.
Instead, Apple’s April releases will boil down to series and movie premieres on Apple TV+, the launch of the big Friday Night Baseball initiative, and select Apple Arcade games. It’s going to be a quiet month, unless you really like baseball.
WWDC
The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference will definitely take place in June, most likely the week of June 6. Apple usually announces the theme for the event in March, but as you know, that didn’t happen. He will do it at any time.
WWDC may be Apple’s first in-person event since the iPhone launch event in September 2019. So keep an eye on our website for all event news, which we may hear about. -be more soon.
Rumored New Products
Five new products have just arrived from Equipment
New Mac minis, a new MacBook Air, and possibly a new high-end mini LED-backlit display are all set to arrive. But none of that will be announced until WWDC in June, or possibly later.
Application and software updates
Apple released iOS 15.4 (along with related versions of watchOS, tvOS, and iPadOS) and macOS 12.3 in March. They’re packed with new features, including Universal Control, Face ID with Mask, Spatial Audio in the Music app on Mac, Notes in iCloud Keychain, and more.
iOS 15.4.1 and Monterey 12.3.1 followed.
Interestingly, iOS 15.4 was not followed by a new beta, not even for developers. In fact, the developer beta page proudly proclaims (at the time of writing) that there are no betas to download.
That doesn’t necessarily mean that Apple is done with iOS 15 and macOS 12. More minor security updates should arrive later in the year, and maybe even an additional feature or two.
But the features originally announced for iOS 15 are now available, and nothing new was announced at the spring event in March that would require an update to the operating system or apps provided by Apple.
In other words, it’s highly unlikely that we’ll get a new OS release in April, and maybe not even a new beta.
Services
AppleTV+
Apple TV+ has become the first service of diffusion win the Oscar for best picture thanks to the film CODA. I’m sure Apple is very proud of it (even though I wasn’t involved in making it; the company just wrote the biggest check in Sundance history).
Anyway, television diffusion it doesn’t stop and apple kicked off april with a major deal you can never take a break from and apple enters april with a major major league baseball deal (friday night baseball ).
These are the shows, series, and movies we plan to premiere on Apple TV+ in April. If you want to know what’s next, check out our full guide to this year’s releases on Apple TV+.

apple arcade
Apple releases new games for Apple Arcade every Friday, but it’s not every Friday that a new game or major update arrives.
Many games release unannounced, but you’ll often see a few projects listed in the “Coming Soon” section. Some have a release date, but most seem to have come out by surprise.
Games with a “+” at the end are titles that have already been released on the App Store but have just received a new release (without ads or microtransactions) on Apple Arcade.
Here are the games coming in April:
- Poached To construct (+): April 1
- Road Gear.Club
