Integrating Reminders within the Calendar app allows you to have a more complete view of your day, with events and pending tasks in one place. While the standalone Reminders app still exists for those who prefer a more detailed experience, This integration provides a faster, simpler way to manage your engagements.

Before iOS 18, accessing a task's subtasks required opening it individually. Now this information is available at a glance, which streamlines the management of complex projects and tasks.
