Yesterday Apple introduced a new beta version, developers already have both iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 on their device. This is an important update, the fourth major update for iOS 13, and so on It comes with significant changes and developments, in addition to improving device performance and resolving minor errors.
Among these new developments we have design changes, to improve on our device functions and a few new Memoji stickers.
What's new in iOS 13.4?
As usual, many of these developments exist shared between iOS 13.4 and IPOS 13.4, but there are some special ones.
New bar in the Mail app
Apple has changed the shape of the bottom bar we have in the Mail app the response button and the garbage button are separated
ICloud shared folders
Apple introduced this new feature in WWDC 19 when it launched iOS 13, and it's been delayed so far. With iOS 13.4 we can do it share the folder we have in Files with several people through iCloud. You can manage permissions so that all other people can only see the files in those folders or be able to edit them. We just have to press and hold the folder in the Files app, click the share icon, click Add people and select the two we want to share and which program to use.
New Memo Stickers
With iOS 13 and iPadOS the Memoji comes to all devices, even if it doesn't have a user ID, via Memoji Stickers. These are stickers with our faces and various definitions we can send through any app, or WhatsApp. Now with iOS and iPadOS 13.4 comes Up to 9 new Memoji Stickers to share
Another development with iOS 13.4 news
- Carkit. New functionality that will allow us to unlock our car with NFC chip for our iPhone.
- Public Purchase. Developers can now sell the macOS and iOS app for the same price.
- Local services. When an application for Authorization requests for the first time after approval while operating the system, the iPhone or iPad will immediately notify the authorization request.
- Keyboard shortcuts. In ourseiPad Story are new keyboard shortcuts for photos to use between tabs, search and create albums. In fullscreen mode, there are also keyboard shortcuts for deleting images, doubling photos and entering editing mode.
- Shazam now compatible with the application Shortcuts.
- Button reset on iPadOS. As pointed out by developer Steve Troughton-Smith, there seems to be a new way to redirect the IP-connected keyboard keys.
These the most important news available on iOS and iPadOS 13.4, for now, only developers and those with an installed developer profile can access them, but in a few weeks it will be available to all users.
