all you can do with this app is without writing a text

app, Text, writing

It's something I never stop emphasizing when I advise the average user: The Apple Notes app is at a very low level, and people even believe that the only word processor available on the market is Microsoft Word and therefore its purchase is compulsory for everyone. That can't be far from the original.

Not only are there a few Word (and also free) methods available, but the Notes can steal the light depending on the usage we provide. Obviously we won't write all the books in Notes, but in sporadic documents it's more than enough. So we've dedicated one of our videos to review all opportunities are provided by notes with iOS 13, iPad OS 13 and macOS Catalina.

Notes: where the text is just a line of ice

Forget about limiting the use of the notes app to keep clear text. Here is a list of everything you can do:

  • You can apply text format, makes it bold, italic, emphasized or changed the font. You can also edit the text by placing headers, subtitles … and many jumpy effects you can use for emojis.
  • You can add tables in notes, the best thing is to enter data that you can separate. Such tables do not support working as spreadsheets, but they are already.
  • You can add more to-do list simple, so Notes can even help your productivity.
  • You can add photos, either by dragging a JPG / PNG file into a note from the Mac or adding it from the camera or the filesystem to the iPhone and iPad. For these first three tasks, Notes has nothing to do with Word documents written by the majority of people.
  • But it's not perfect: you can do it scan the documents using iPhone and iPad cameras. These are concentrated on a note, and you can edit them using Apple Pencil and share them as you would like in PDF format.
  • If you don't like the default domain for notes, you can change it either place the grid.
  • For the same Apple Pencil you can as well freehand drawing from an iPad or iPhone, which will sync perfectly to your Mac with iCloud. If you don't have an Apple Pencil you can draw and use your finger. Of course, that also applies to signing a document without having to print and scan it.
  • Notes where you store sensitive information block by using an additional password.
  • To finish, don't forget that he also knows you shared notes as well as other Apple users, so that several people can work on it at the same time.
