Amazfit has announced a new cheap smartwatch, the new Amazfit Pop 2, the second generation of the Amazfit Pop from a few years ago. It looks a bit more premium, despite maintaining a fairly reasonable price tag which is less than 50 dollars to change.
The Amazfit Pop 2 is a new smartwatch with a 1.78-inch AMOLED display that commits to the rectangular screen format, with an autonomy of about ten days of use and the most to be able to use it during answer calls (connection via Bluetooth to the phone).

New cheap smartwatch from Amazfit
The already complete catalog of Amazfit smartwatches receives a new member, the Amazfit Pop 2. Previous Amazfit Pops were not sold internationally under this name, but as part of the Amazfit Bip series, but this new Amazfit Pop 2 is different from other Bip models. So it could be a future Amazfit Bip 4 or any other BOM.
Anyway, we find a smartwatch with 1.78 AMOLED display inches diagonally, with a rectangular format and a resolution of 368 x 448 pixels. The design is a bit like Apple Watch, everything is said, although with only one physical button and which on this occasion comes in the form of a pill.
With the Amazfit Pop 2 you can record more than 100 sports, check the time in more than 150 different spheres, record your vital signs (pulse, blood oxygen, sleep quality) and your sports sessions in more than 100 activities different. It does not have GPS, but it has a 270 mAh battery whose autonomy should give, according to official figures, around ten days of normal use.
The smart watch can connect via Bluetooth 5.2 to a mobile for answer calls with its built-in speaker and microphone and interact with mobile assistants from the watch. Of course you can also see the notifications that arrive on your mobile and it has IP68 resistance.
Amazfit POP 2 versions and prices
The Amazfit POP 2 is currently official in India and we still don’t know if it will be sold globally under that name or another. It is available in black and pink and is priced at 3,999 Indian rupees, or 48 dollars to change real.
