Amazfit T-Rex 2, features and price data sheet

It was at the beginning of 2020 when Amazfit officially presented the T-Rex, a smartwatch with a very resistant design and great autonomy. Last year, we discovered its Pro variant, which boasted military certification, an AMOLED display, and blood oxygen saturation reading, among other virtues.

Now comes the second generation, the Amazfit T-Rex 2, which further increases the level of resistance and brings with it more than 150 sports modes. In addition, it has a more advanced GPS thanks to dual-band positioning and its compatibility with five satellite navigation systems.

Almost a month of autonomy and 100 m depth

To use GPS outdoors with more precision and less environmental interference, the new Amazfit T-Rex-2 combines dual-band positioning with five satellites. This allows you to achieve a much higher search speed and offers features like direct back navigation. Added to this are the built-in barometric altimeter and compass, and a new route import feature.

Thanks to the BioTracker 6PD function (six photodiodes), with a simple touch, this watch can measure four different metrics in 45 seconds: heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, stress levels and respiratory rate. It also has over 150 sports modes with many new features such as triathlon mode, hunting, fishing, golf swing and surfing.

Additionally, the T-Rex 2 has a 1.39-inch HD AMOLED color display and a 500 mAh battery which Amazfit claims is capable of reaching 24 days of autonomy. In terms of its resistance, it can withstand an equivalent water pressure of up to 100 meters (10 atm) and withstand extreme temperatures of up to -40°C and +70°C.

Amazfit T-Rex 2 price and availability

The Amazfit T-Rex 2 will go on sale at a official price of 229.90 dollars. The black version will be available exclusively in El Corte Ingles stores from June 13 and in Amazfit online stores at the end of June. You can also find it in three other colors.
