Last week Google confirmed that the Google Play Store has stopped showing notification for updated apps, and that it was not a mistake but that it was a new feature.
Well, if you are one of the people who liked that notice to find out how many apps have been updated when we have good news. Braden Farmer, a key member of the XDA developers has created a cure for less than a week receive notifications on Google Play
How to get notifications for a new app
AppNotifier It's an app now that we have to install on our mobile device to receive notifications taken from the Google Play store for us. We'll also see how many and which apps were recently updated on our Android. All under the same design and behavior I had on Google Play. Clicking a notification opens the Google Play Store for display the latest updates.
The app doesn't have much mystery. It allows us to use notifications for new installed apps as well new app notification. By default it will only show downloaded and installed apps from the Google Play store but offers the option to receive notifications about the installed and updated app from any source, that is, from unknown sources.
The developer informed that its application does not recognize when applications are in the middle of installation, so there will be a slight delay since the application is installed and a notification will appear. It also announces that the notification will show the name that the app has on our device and not the name it has on the Google Play tab, which sometimes varies. Another detail is that we will have to block the notification that AppNotifier is running in the background. The same notice tells us what to do.
