A few minutes ago Google officially announced what we thought would be the latest version of Android 11. We said we took it because we also thought that with DP3, though it seems unlikely we will see a new developer preview before June 3, which will be announced in beta.
You know, this kind of update is intended for developers, which is why it only works on Google pixels. We've added him to Google Pixel 3 and tell you what the news is.
The security patch goes to May 2020
The change is what we've all been waiting for, an update that will bring the latest security patch available. This is May, the month when we are less than a week old.
Text selection is multitasking
Since the previous developer version, DP 3, Google has been working with a lot of upgraded windows.
This increases the level by adding in this version the option to it select text directly from multitasking, without installing the app. It's perfect for having to copy and paste between applications quickly.
However in this version this function only appears when we configure navigation gestures, not buttons, and provides errors when selecting text, at least for Pixel 3.
New shapes and gestures
It looks like Google doesn't want to be the only one that does not allow its users to customize their color and textures.
In this update we see other options, such as the new iconic silhouettes. However, when we tried to use them the system failed and disabled the option. It is noteworthy that this version is still far from stable.
