Next Tuesday, May 18, the long-awaited Google I / O 2021 will begin. This is its inaugural conference Google finally it will show us all the news of Android 12 which have not yet been announced in its previews.
One of the puzzles of Android 12 is the Interface. With Android 12 it seems that all the components of Material design they will be renewed to give a fresh and current look to Google’s mobile operating system.
Google will renew the design of switches, selectors, windows, drop-down lists, buttons, windows, menus, widgets, alerts, notifications, settings, media player, etc. It seems like the renovation will be completed.
The leak comes from Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech’s YouTube channel. He posted a video with a big leak of Android 12, in which we would see some slides (minute 2:57) and small fragments of the promotional video (minute 6:30) of the new Android 12 interface.
In the video of the leak, we will see some screenshots of the new design of Android 12 components, such as the notifications, the new design of Notification bar which seems to group our notifications in a pill, the new design of the keyboard or the calculator.
This new, more minimalist and current interface would be compatible with a new system theme selector that would allow users to customize the colors and shapes of their icons and buttons, as has been possible for a few years on Pixels.
What remains a mystery is how the home screen, app drawer and open apps view interface will be, the design of which already depends on the app launcher interface of each manufacturer.
