The bad reputation that Samsung had in terms of the speed of updating its mobiles to the latest versions of Android is being corrected day by day. The company has already updated the Galaxy S21 to Android 12, even in Europe, and is currently testing Android 12 for the Galaxy Note 10, as we learned yesterday. And today we learn that Android 12 testing has started on the Galaxy S10.
Android 12 and One UI 4 coming to Galaxy S10 in South Korea
The company has released a statement in its home country saying that users who wish can join the Samsung Galaxy S10 test program to test Android 12 on these models.
Even the variant released later, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, will be able to benefit from this beta program. The Samsung Galaxy S10e, the most budget model in the family, has also started to update.
For the moment, this program will be active in South Korea and in a few weeks the stable version of Android 12 for the Galaxy S10 will be launched. According to Samsung’s schedule, this model would receive the final version in January and arrive in Europe on the same date, perhaps a few days later.
The new features of Android 12 and One UI will be the same as seen in the Note 10 or S20, except for differential elements like SPen.
