As happens with each key version of the system, the rest of the manufacturers end up adapting their layer to include the new features prepared by Google. And with Android 15 we are currently in this process: several manufacturers are testing the beta, including Xiaomi. And the brand has updated its company mobile list with the models that will receive the next firmware versions.
HyperOS represented a huge break in the Xiaomi catalog, it is not in vain that the brand wanted to expand its ecosystem by merging it with unified software. MIUI on smartphones was left aside in favor of the aforementioned HyperOS with Android 14. And now that Android 15 is already visible in the distance, version 2.0 of the Xiaomi layer is preparing to move to the first devices.
HyperOS 2.0 and Android 14 secured for 23 phones
Xiaomi presented three of its models in the beta version of Android 15, for now still without HyperOS 2.0. These devices are the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 13T Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4: those who own one can download Android 15 now from the beta version. Logically, these models will be updated once Xiaomi releases the stable version of the system and layer.
The manufacturer keeps a detailed record of which models receive updates, how often they do so and, furthermore, Xiaomi details the devices that will no longer be updated. This registry is called Xiaomi Security Center, a security page that also anticipates which mobile phones and tablets have a future update guarantee.
Xiaomi has several of its models enrolled in the Android Enterprise Recommendation or AER program, devices offered for professional environments and which have additional security guarantees and updates. All these devices are listed on the Xiaomi Security Center page with their future updates (in the AER tab). And a recent update reveals the first 23 phones that will receive Android 15 and, obviously, HyperOS 2.0.
The full list of devices benefiting from the guaranteed update is as follows:
Full update from the previous list to Android 15 is guaranteed. And, since the new version of the system will arrive with a revision of the layer, HyperOS 2.0 will also land on these smartphones. The most logical thing is that the update period begins in September/October and the newest and most expensive cell phones are the first to have the new software at their fingertips.
