Android Auto is a great app (at the expense of the new Assistant Driving Mode) to manage all of our communications, navigation and more from our vehicle, but it doesn’t always work as it should because since September Telegram had problems with your messages.
Google announced that it has solved a problem related to sending messages through Telegram on Android Au to using our voice to compose them.
Send messages in Telegram for Android Auto
In a discussion thread on the Google Forums, you could read an issue generated in September in which affected users reported that the Android Auto voice commands were not working appropriately with Telegram.
The problem was sending a message through Telegram when we were using voice in Android Auto. I mean, this shipping experience when we get behind the wheel and thanks to Assistant, we can send a message to a contact which is collected as we speak vocally.
Even though it looked like it was dispatched, it wasn’t. The funny thing is that replying to messages on Telegram works dictate the composition of one with the voice, but if one tries to send it without answering, the problem is there.
Earlier this month, the team behind Android Auto’s development commented in this same thread that in version 7.1 of the app the issue has been fixed, although it appears to be half solves it
Now it’s your part update to this version of Android Auto 7.1 and check if you can use voice command to send Telegram message.
Anyway, it wouldn’t be the first time that a solution was launched and it wasn’t the final one, so we have the google forums thread that we know of through 9to5Google to give the necessary feedback on the version. Android Auto 7.1.
