Android devices are becoming more and more understandable. For a few years now, Google has been trying to bring Europe and the rest of the world closer together greater and better integration of Android devices with each other. This way, it can be easier to work with several of them on a daily basis, or they can even be used to track your phone if you lose it.
This is something that other brands like Apple, Samsung or Huawei take very seriously, and it makes it easier for a person to have multiple devices from the brand to communicate with each other. This It can be very useful for performing any type of task
Google is now starting to roll out a new Android feature that will allow users switch devices in the middle of a call to be able to continue from another mobile phone or tablet other than the one that started the call.
Multi-device services
To facilitate workflows between different devices, many brands are committed to providing them with certain features that make them able to communicate with each other to perform certain tasks. This is what Google wants to implement on Android with its new multi-device services.
This is a new feature already integrated into Android tablets and that should reach many users in the coming weeks. For now, these services would offer two options to users. One of them would allow we could start a call from the mobile phone and continue it from the tablet or from the secondary mobile. These calls would only be compatible with certain applications, such as Google Meet, so it is unclear whether phone calls can also be transmitted.
On the other hand, it also offers the possibility of automatically registering our devices between them, so that every time we activate the Internet sharing function, others can access it automatically, without having to enter the password. This function, yes, will not be available on Samsung devices, since they already have an automatic hotspot function.
These features will be available on devices running Android 11 and later, although they will not be available on devices using Android Go. To enable these features, simply go to Settings, go to the Google section and tap on Devices and sharing.
