Anker Chargers and Cables

Just in time for the imminent launch of the new iPhone, Anker gives us swe new Nano chargers with a power of 30W, and new more durable cables made with vegetable materials.

One of the new features that seems to be integrated in the new iPhone that we will be able to see in less than 24 hours is the compatibility with loads of up to 30W. And just in time for this launch, Anker introduced its new Nano chargers with power up to 30W. Made with the new GaN technology, these chargers have a very small size and despite their great power they hardly heat up. With the remaining chargers you can use the fast charging of the most modern iPhone, but they not only work with Apple’s smartphone, you can also use Samsung’s Fast Charging technology. The chargers have reduced the use of plastic in their manufacturing materials, and the box they come in contains 90% less plastic. The price of this new Nano 3 is also very low considering its characteristics: $24.99 and are available in different colors.

Anker vegetable cable

In addition to its new charger with its box with less plastics, Anker presented the first cable made with materials of vegetable origin. According to the manufacturer itself, some 662 million cables are used worldwide each year, which means the use of 43,000 tonnes of oil and 9,000 tonnes of plastic. Plant materials such as corn or sugar cane have been used to make the outer sheath of these new cables., thereby reducing the use of petroleum-based plastics such as TPE. Of course, the manufacturer ensures that the use of these new materials allows it to maintain the same resistance as the plastic versions. They are available in two models:

  • USB-C to Lightning: Up to 30W charging power, available in white, black, purple, blue, and green. Price $19.99 (1 meter) and $24.99 (2 meters).
  • USB-C to USB-C: up to 100W of power, available in white, black, blue and green. Price $17.99 (1 meter) and $19.99 (2 meters).
