Since 2022, patents related to smart rings have multiplied at Apple and it’s no coincidence!
The fact that the Apple Watch controls many functions related to our health does not mean that Apple is limited to developing other devices with similar functions. As demonstrated by thousands of patents each year, Apple does not stop and its new project is a smart ringsimilar to versions of other recognized brands like Oura, which, despite their popularity, have not made a difference in user preferences, compared to bracelets or smart watches.
According to the Korean media Electronic Times, Apple interested in a smart ring as a popular, less intrusive alternative to a watchwhich can be worn longer and is easier to sleep on.
Apple wants to offer its own smart ring
The source states that Apple files new patents related to NFC-enabled touch device as it coordinates launch schedule. Therefore, according to some experts, it seems imminent that we will see a ring with the bitten apple logo.
