In the era of mobile devices we all rely on your batteries. And in bags like mine, where I usually carry a MacBook Pro, iPad Pro and iPhone, there is no shortage of cables and chargers so I have no problem using any of those devices too much.
Manufacturers know that perfectly, so they've come up with a practical solution: power adapter supports a load not of one kind, if not several. The last example we saw with Satechi and its powerful 108W charger, which can charge four different devices with the power it needs. The question we can ask ourselves is: why didn't Apple start selling the same thing?
Another option after a power failure?
There are some security issues to do something like this: now Apple's strategy is in place sell more accessories better to increase their income and stop relying (too much) on iPhone sales. Each device sold by Apple has a built-in charger as standard, of course, but selling something that was able to charge several things at once would be a good idea considering the speed of output made by other manufacturers.
In addition, Apple is already figuring out how to consolidate the load of these devices: AirPower wanted to charge a single cord for AirPods, iPhone and Apple Watch. But we all know what happened. We can assume that maybe Apple doesn't want to introduce a wireless multi-charger as a result move on to the future of induction charging… but at the same time you have to remember that the iPad or MacBook is not charged in this way. For now.
That's why I think Apple would take the opportunity to introduce a charger with a few USB ports. It can also take on some unusual features that can be seen in other manufacturers, such as built-in battery or induction charging base other devices (if the ambient temperature allows it, of course).
I wish to say that something like this exists in the form of laboratories in the secret rooms of Copertino, and probably for a long time. But another decision would have made Apple not start selling it, a decision we will never know. Who knows, maybe the company surprises us with a solution for so much load we can't imagine.
