A little more than a month when the Apple event took place where we met the iPhone 16, the Apple Watch Series 10 and the AirPods 4. This month of October has already started by surprising us with a surprise iPad mini 7. And that’s how the month seems to end. With a formula never seen before.
There is no event, but a week full of new products
If last year they surprised us with an event in the middle of Halloween and themed around this theme, this year Apple will experiment with a different technique: a week with several releases on the same theme, the Mac and that is planned. be renew the MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac minithe latter also being the culmination of the biggest overhaul in its history.

What releases we expect to see over the next week
Apple will launch the new MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini models with M4 chip via a press release. In addition, it will be presented the new range of M4 Pro and M4 Max processors. These releases will surely be accompanied by a video on the YouTube channel explaining the new manufacturing architectures, power, Mac designs, etc.
As Greg Joswiak himself says in his post “mac-car” on our calendars next week. From Monday itself, and as three renewals are expected, it will surely be one launch per day: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The mystery will be in the order of the products, although it might look like this:

All new Macs will already ship with 16 GB of base RAM. Regarding storage, leaks have shown MacBook Pro models also equipped with 512 GB of SSD in their base format, so Apple will finally take a giant step forward in its entry models.

MacBook Pro M4
There will be no major design differences compared to the M3 MacBook Pro. In fact, almost everything has already been disclosed. There will be three versions: M4, M4 Pro and M4 Max, in two sizes, 14 and 16 inches. The novelty will lie in this RAM memory and this extended basic storage.
iMac M4
Although several years have passed between the M1 iMac and the M3 iMac, it doesn’t look like Apple is going to delay this release much with the M4. As for the design, it should remain the same, with its 24-inch screen. Possibly new colors, although this is not yet confirmed. It is almost 100% possible that the accessories will be renewed to accommodate USB-C. There will therefore be a new Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad.
Mac mini M4
Almost two years after the Mac mini M2, we will finally see a new Mac mini with a long-awaited redesign, reduce its size to look more like an Apple TV. In addition to the new look, it will arrive with options for the M4 and M4 Pro chips. It will be the icing on the cake with the biggest (or smallest depending on how you look at it) renovation in its history.

And although Apple Intelligence is compatible with Macs with an M1 chip or later, this new M4 processor will undoubtedly be the key to encouraging people with a Mac with Intel or even coming from Windows to renew. Who knows if there will be any Apple Intelligence surprises exclusive to these models.
What time will they present the new Macs?
Without an event and only with Greg Joswiak’s sentence, we will have to do our own calculations to know what time the Macs will be launched and for how many days. It will probably take three days after launch, and Greg in the post himself indicates that it will be in the morning. Californian morning of course. To this we must add (or rather subtract) the time change which is taking place in USA this weekend. We are therefore faced with a real lottery.
Traditionally, Apple usually launches these products via press release between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. If we take the iPad Mini 7 presented a few days ago as a reference, the statement was released at 6 a.m. California time. That is to say 3 p.m. in USA. If we contested the time change, we would be between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. in USA.
