A new rumor claims that Apple could prepare a new larger iPad Pro with the new M2 chip.
A new rumor indicates that Apple is preparing a new iPad Pro with a 14-inch screen and the M2 chip. It was assumed that the next generation of iPad Pro would use the M2 chip, but no one had talked about a possible increase in the size of the device until now.
Apparently, this 14-inch iPad Pro would not only have the M2 chip, but also a minimum of 512 GB of storage and 16 GB of RAM, something the current iPad Pro with more storage already includes. This is certainly an interesting rumour, if somewhat disconcerting.
The leak comes from the Twitter account @MajinBuOfficialWhat on several occasions he leaked information about Apple devicesalthough not always correctly. In this case, this is the first information about this supposed iPad that we have heard.
According to my sources, Apple is developing a new 14.1-inch iPad M2 with 512GB and 16GB of base memory. The new M2 lineup is expected to include a new 11-inch model with no major changes, a new 12.9-inch model with scaled-down bezels, and that new iPad 14.1

Does it make sense to have 3 iPad Pro models so similar?
The rumor is interesting to say the least, however it doesn’t seem to make much sense in the current iPad Pro lineup. the difference between this new 14.1 inch model and the 12.9 inch model is not too big. It would really make more sense to substitute one model for another and not keep both.
And on the other hand we have the “problem” of the 11-inch iPad Pro. With the arrival of the M1 chip in the 10.9-inch iPad Air, the differences with the Pro model have diminished considerably. And if the new generation is not going to include new features such as the larger model’s mini-LED panel, its continuity is in doubt.
Of course, a bigger iPad Pro now that multitasking has improved in iPadOS 16 makes a lot of sense. But have two large models of iPad Pro I don’t know if it will be a success. In the end, those who want a large iPad will opt for the model with the largest screen offered by Apple.
