Apple Could Hold Another Event Before the End of the Year and This Is All It Would Show

Apple could hold a new event in 2024 to present several new devices

The iPhone 16 event brought us some important news in the company’s catalog of devices, but there is still much to see before the end of the year. And, it seems, Apple may schedule new event for Octoberin which many new devices would be presented.

It’s worth remembering that this October event is usually a tradition within the company. Last year, Apple held a virtual event on Monday, October 30 to announce the new MacBook Pro and iMac models powered by M3 chips.

With that in mind, here’s everything we hope Apple will showcase at this final event of the year:

Mac mini built with M4 chip

This is perhaps one of the stars of the event, since it is the only Mac that has not been redesigned after the switch to Apple Silicon chips, in addition to the Mac Pro. A big novelty is expected for this small and powerful device. Here is what we expect from the new Mac mini:

• A new design that would be similar in size to the Apple TV. This is a drastic reduction in size. The current Mac mini measures 19.7 x 19.7 x 3.58 cm, while the Apple TV measures just 9.3 x 9.3 x 3.1 cm.
• Lots of power with the M4 and M4 Pro chips. A significant step considering that the current Mac mini uses M2 chips.
• No USB-A ports. The new Mac mini will reportedly only come with USB-C ports.
• The cheapest Mac. Despite the news, the new Mac mini will still be Apple’s least expensive Mac.

MacBook Pro with M4 chip

Apple plans to update its 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips. These Macs were last updated a year ago to include variants of the M3 chip, and we expect a similar refresh. That is, the same design but with new processors. The big change would come later with the arrival of OLED displays on the MacBook Pros.

iMac with M4 chip

He iMac will also reportedly be updated to include the M4 chipand it is possible that the Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad will no longer include the Lightning connection to switch to USB-C. However, we will not have new aesthetics either.

iPad mini

So no major changes are expected. We will have improvements in the screen and a more powerful chipmaybe Apple will opt for the A18 chip to make it compatible with Apple Intelligence. The iPad mini has always used a cutting-edge chip.

iPad (11th generation)

An iPad that has been completely updated in 2022 to change its design to that of an iPad Air, with all that this implies. We therefore expect a small renovationprobably an update of its A14 chip and small details.
