Apple held an event to which neither the public nor the media were invited, but rather several members of law enforcement agencies around the world.
Those from Cupertino organized a special event but it was secret and the most curious thing was that it was not aimed at the general public but to completely unexpected guests. Apple partners with police forces in various regions around the world through its products
According to the Forbes report, Apple has organized two conferences in the last 5 years called the Global Police Summit. The police were invited to Apple Park and against all odds, Apple’s relationship with law and order is one of the best although it is believed otherwise due to what happened in 2015 with the FBI.
For several years, Apple has offered to collaborate with the police through these conferences and other meetings both at its headquarters and on the famous Elk Grove campus. We also know that Apple is carrying out projects aimed at police officers with the aim of helping them use iPhones, Macs, Apple Vision Pro and CarPlay.. It is worth mentioning that the projects are secret and have not been made public.
Interestingly, the last Global Police Summit took place a year ago, in October, and the first meeting took place in 2019. Police officers from around fifty departments from around the world were present.Concretely, 7 different countries were able to attend Apple Park. The direct intention is to share and collaborate on how they use Apple technology in their daily work.
Apple strengthens its relationship with California police
How could it be otherwise, those from Cupertino try to concentrate their first efforts on the Californian policeApple’s home state. What they want is to see Apple products adopted by both police departments and the sheriff’s office.

A curious detail from the Forbes report is that the employee who was spearheading these efforts recently left Apple.. The employee in question is Gary Oldham, there is no record or rumor as to why he left. The event could change hands, The unknown is that there is no information on whether Apple will do it again next year..
