They filter out identifiers of new, unreleased iPad models
Since late 2023, there has been speculation that Apple could renew its entire fleet of iPad devices in 2024. In recent months Apple has already updated its iPad Air and iPad Pro lines with major innovations set to revolutionize the sector.
Apple recently introduced two iPad Air models with M2 chips and two more iPad Pro devices with OLED technology and M4 chips. The iPad and iPad mini ranges still need to be renewed. But the industry is already looking ahead to the next generation in 2025.
Next-Generation iPad Model Identifiers Leaked and many of them will arrive in 2025. A clear indication that the company led by Tim Cook has already set to work with the development of new iPad devices that will surprise its customers.

To cite an example, in the list we see four iPad Pro models with 11-inch and 13-inch displays powered by an M3 chip. But Apple decided to ignore this generation of Apple Silicon processors and the latest iPad Pros were equipped with a powerful M4 chip to support Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence.
In addition to the 5 iPhone IDs reported yesterday, the following iPad IDs were found (and @AppleDBdev ‘s guesses as to what they might be):
iPad13,20 – Base Model Wi-Fi A14 (discontinued)
iPad13,21 – Base Model A14 Cellular (Discontinued)

In the list of leaked iPad devices we find a total of 8 identifiers, which would actually be divided into 4 different iPad models with different processors within the A16 Bionic, A17 Bionic and M5 chips.

- iPad 15.3 – M3 11-inch Pro Wi-Fi (discontinued)
- iPad 15.4 – M3 11-inch Pro Cellular (discontinued)
- iPad 15.5 – M3 13-inch Pro Wi-Fi (discontinued)
- iPad 15.6 – M3 13-inch Pro Cellular (discontinued)
- iPad 15.7 – iPad A16 11th generation Wi-Fi
- iPad15.8 – iPad A16 11th Generation Mobile Phone
- iPad16.1 – A17 iPad mini 7th generation Wi-Fi
- iPad 16.2 – A17 iPad mini 7th generation cellular
- iPad 17.1 – M5 11-inch Pro Wi-Fi
- iPad 17.2 – M5 11 inch Pro Cellular
- iPad 17.3 – M5 13-inch Pro Wi-Fi
- iPad 17.4 – M5 13 inch Pro Cellular
At the moment, it is not known which iPad models will be presented at the end of 2024 and during 2025. But if we had to risk predicting their launch, we would bet that The A16 Bionic chip credentials would belong to the 11th generation iPad while the A17 Bionic chip credentials would be linked to the 7th generation iPad mini.
It is possible that the new iPad and iPad mini devices will be presented in the coming months. But in the case of the iPad Pro range with M5 chip, we will have to wait at least another year.
On another note, Apple announced a few weeks ago all the new software features that the iPad will have. With an iPadOS 18 with new features for Messages, Photos, Safari, Control Center and with the introduction of artificial intelligence.
