Coronavirus cases continue to rise in the United States, on the verge of peaking in confirmed cases last year. This is why Apple has decided to close over 20 Apple Stores in the United States, in addition to 5 of them due to inclement weather, according to MacRumors. The company is therefore returning to the closures of its establishments to avoid gathering people inside and spreading the virus.
Apple store closures due to return of coronavirus
Coronavirus continues to spread around the world due to the Omicrón variant first located in South Africa a few weeks ago. At the rate of its expansion, Apple has decided to recover the closures of its stores (there have also been closings in Spanish stores). Specifically, closures occur in:
- Washington DC: 1 store.
- California: 2 stores.
- Pennsylvania: 1 store.
- Texas: 5 stores.
- Ohio: 3 stores.
- Virginie: 2 stores.
- Georgia: 2 stores.
- Tennessee: 1 tienda.
- Florida: 1 store.
- New Hampshire: 1 store.
- Maryland: 1 store.
- New York: 5 stores.
