Oops! Someone at Apple recently got into trouble. The company uploaded a video tutorial this afternoon on its official channel dedicated to sponsorship, where it explains how to delete all data from the iPhone and leave it at the factory. So far nothing complicated … until it is discovered there is a very clear reference to AirTags. The video has been available on YouTube for only a few minutes until Carlertino saw it and deleted it. They first saw it in Appleosophy and introduced it on MacRumors.
Since the video is official and made by Apple itself, both the product and its name are authenticated. The system used in the tutorial demonstration should be a future update, where developers have already added AirTags. Does that mean we will see you soon? It is possible, although the impact of the COVID-19 virus epidemic is uncertain.
Runaway: iOS is ready for AirTags
Fortunately, when I started writing this article the video was still available and it gave me time to take a screenshot:
You can find the subject in 1:45 minutes of video, which shows us the Search section of our Apple ID settings. By choosing & # 39; Find Offline & # 39; / & # 39; Offline & # 39; we see the following text:
With & # 39; Get Offline & # 39; You can find this device and AirTags when not connected to a Wi-Fi network or with no cellular data.
When you go to that section on your iPhone, you see very similar text but naturally without this mention. As I said before, it's simple: someone is impressed and they've already fixed it. Without giving a big indication that AirTags are too close, or at least not ready to launch as soon as quarantine breaks allow.
