Another purchase from Apple. On GeekWire comes the news that the company Stayed with Xnor.ai, a startup that works on building artificial intelligence for low-end devices. Home video surveillance camera manufacturer Wyze has been using that AI to find people, even though they now have to make that work for their own purposes.
The reason is that all Xnor.ai products are now owned by Apple, so Wyze has had to inform its users of this and promise that they will soon create another way to get people with their cameras back. Though there are no official figures, it seems Apple pay $ 200 million in adoption
These demographics can have many applications within Apple's products and services: we can see new features when taking photos with the iPhone, or when analyzing recordings of security cameras stored in iCloud. It's all thanks to the chip that, itself, it can be nourished by the cell cell for years
Also, it's one of those purchases surgery Apple will never see a new product or service, but we will do so with almost invisible benefits or new features. It will be something we will see rather in the medium or long term on iPhone updates and / or iOS.
