Long ago we saw rumors and opinions of some virtual reality glasses designed and manufactured by Apple. Measures such as ARKit or the introduction of the LiDAR program in the new iPad Pro (2020) show, at least indirectly, that Apple is moving in this direction. Now Macrumors has acquired what appears to be a control to explore and improve these future glasses.
An AR development test and perhaps more
This remote / controller is very similar to the one used by HTC Vive, introduced in 2016, and due to the simplicity of its design it looks like unit of internal audit. Experiments that, on the other hand, appear to have improved considerably, are devices that are ready to perform simulations and are more than just objections.
Earlier this month, thanks to the leak found in iOS 14, we learned about a a realistic project of the unpleasantness referred to internally Gobi. The project includes a kind of throwback game that is only available at a close-up of offices where Apple, supposedly, is developing a genuine virtual reality glass for the future.
Trends, as well as Tim Cook's ongoing statements about the future of Augmented Reality, exist and now, we seem to have concrete evidence of its development. Apart from this confirmation some questions arise. The almost complete similarity between the remote found by Macrumors and the HTC Vive controller may indicate a partnership between Apple and HTC in the construction of these virtual reality glasses of the future. In fact, let's remember that HTC Vive has support for macOS, another relevant point.
For now, and as we keep in mind rumors and leaks, we should regard them as unconfirmed information. It is likely that Apple will announce news in the future of WWDC 2020, and, who knows, maybe we'll see virtual reality glasses of the physical realm get rolling sooner than expected.
